Call Idaho and Just Ask for Don
Now we know why you can call Idaho and ask for Don. We just visited the town of Inkom, future home of the Phillips Ranch (nowhere near Phillips Ranch Road). With a population of 738 everyone seems to know everyone else. We posted pictures of our trip on our blog which can be found at www.annieandroo.blogspot.com. Enjoy!
Star Wars
Just the other day, J, Sam and Knox disappeared down into the basement and were suspiciously quiet for a long time. Just as Kristin and I were about to go down and make sure everything was alright, out of our basement emerged Count Dooku, Darth Vader and an Ewok. Don't know what happened to our boys, but these Star Wars folks were pretty fun to have around for the afternoon!

Lincoln is in the lead
So... I have a little competition going amongst the grandkids. Whoever I think has the cutest picture of the month gets to be my wallpaper on my computer at work. First it was Erica in her yellow bathing suit, this past month it has been J, Sam and Knox holding Mary on her blessing day. Then, Ricky and Eden sent me the following pictures and so now Lincoln is winning!
I'm posting these pictures on their behalf because everyone needs to see how cute my 5th nephew is!

Thanks for creating this, Nancee. I missed the boat on "Skype" but maybe I can get behind blogging.
This has been a busy month for me. First Dad was here, then Danielle came, and Mom just arrived last night. Danielle and I stayed very busy while she was here. Some of the sites we saw included-- The Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Lincoln Memorial, The Holocaust Museum, The Natural History Museum, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, The House & Senate (in session--we got to see a bill for "Frank Sinatra Day" approved!!), The Baltimore National Aquarium, and we did a bunch of other stuff too. I can't remember it all now. When she sends me the pictures I will post them for you all to see.
Until then, I will post some pictures from my job. The first picture is from Christmas, when we decorated our division like "Whoville" (From Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"). We were all supposed to wear stripes with crazy hairstyles. Can you find me?
The second picture is of my boss, who just got promoted to be the Deputy Director (which is Government speak for "Vice-President". In the middle is Jane, my thirty-something bi-polar mentor. She is fun... but totally unstable. And I'm on the right. My hair is much darker now.

The boys getting ready to storm the castle! Do you think it'll work? Not a chance. Bye bye!!!
We're loving the warm spring weather that has swept through our town with high temps this week in the 50's. We'll be out of town this week for a trip to the Cleveland Zoo, Kirtland church history sites, and a SplashPark in Erie, PA. Stay tuned for pictures...
Tegeder Update
Arizona hit the triple digits this week. However, it is much more bearable when you are not pregnant. It will drop back into the 80s tomorrow, so it is not too bad. Troy's sister, Molly, and her husband are coming to visit us for Memorial Weekend. We are going to swim in our above-ground pool and BBQ.
Troy has been working hard on our backyard. We plan on laying a ton of crushed red rock on one side of it to help with weeds and dirt. Pictures will be forthcoming.
Erica is almost 9 months old. She loves to pull herself up on things, but can't balance very well once she is there. She is a fantastic eater and a pretty good sleeper. The only hard thing is that she is in CONSTANT need of entertainment. I hope that is a good thing eventually, but I'm running out of ideas. I think it will be better once she can get to where she wants to. I don't think she is going to crawl anytime soon though. She likes me to take her places.

Success
It looks like we've overcome the technical difficulties, so now we can start using this blog. I will email out a basic blogging lesson to everyone.
